The Grassrots Institute organizes several Field Schools for the students in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. These Field Schools offer high-quality interdisciplinary practical education giving grassroots exposure to the students. The Field Schools are designed to teach students about critical/ local problems and train them to do field work, field research and community development. Our faculty provides core lectures needed to understand the content areas pertinent to different courses in each type of Field School. | Internships to Test the Knowledge |
|
Most of the career-oriented students pursuing their undergraduate or postgraduate studies in universities and colleges usually undergo INTERNSHIP before they actualy join employment. The internship provides them an opportunity to test their knowledge and correlate their understandings with the field realities. Since 2005, the Grassrots Institute hosted over 25 qualified Interns from over 15 countries such as USA, Australia, New Zealand, UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Greece, Switzerland, Colombia, India, etc. Most of the Interns worked on specified study or action projects over a period of 4-6 months.
